My Cute Gardener.
The little greenary that we have.
Her pronunciation is a little bit out, duck as dog and Sekolah Methodist as Shekola Metodis. Her laughter and giggling is the best music to my ears. She cheers up my life and often busy chasing after her at the Shopping Mall. Speedy Gonzales with full of energy in her. We never blink an eye on her at the busy Shopping Mall.
The Nenek said, I am spoiling her but how not to please a little cute darling; I often melt with her requests. Throughout the weekdays, we missed her.

Ex Guthrien met.
Carey Island Golf Clubhouse. (Heritage Building).
I bumped into Azman ex Guthrien who was the Harvard Jerai Golf Course Superintendent. He is now managing the Property Division of Sime Darby Plantations at Carey Island. He’s responsible of the eighteen holes Golf Course, the Heritage Buildings and Visitors Coordinator. A good friend of mine as we were in the same Company of Kumpulan Guthrie Bhd. During my routine visit to Bedong Rubber Factory I used to stay at the Harvard Suasana Hotel and he always ensure I had a good round of the eighteen (18) holes there. At night we ventured for the local delicacies around Sungei Petani or Gurun. Local delicacies means, food. My favorite is the shell less crabs.
Now that Azman is in Carey Island I would love to visit that Island again. Used to be an island before but Golden Hope Plantation built a bridge connecting the Island with Teluk Panglima Garang hinterland. The last time I was on the island was sometimes in 2000 and at that time it was only a nine (9) holes golf course. I admire the Scottish type Bungalows and the Golf Course Clubhouse. It is a heritage and I hope Sime Darby retain those buildings. I am more interested to visit the Mahameri tribe on the island where their craftsmanship being UNESCO recognized. Azman informed me that he would be please to show me as the Mahameri tribe settlement is one of the visitor’s itineraries.
The wooden carvings by the Mahameri tribe.
We adjourned to JJ Shopping Complex balcony for a drink, cigarettes, catching up with old times and current development with Sime Darby. Kumpulan Guthrie was eaten up by Sime Darby together with Golden Hope. Not many of the Guthrie Managers during my time still exist in service with Sime Darby. The Senior Assistants of those times that I was not familiar with are the Managers today. By blink of an eye, it had been ten (10) years that I was retired off.
It was nice to meet old Friends.

The PM was in town.
The PM came to Pandamaran, a Chinese settlement once fenced up by the British to round up the Chinese and isolate them from the Communists. The British settled the Chinese in a guarded community to avoid sympathizers feeding the CPM. In Selangor he Communists were mainly Chinese and that’s the cause of the emergence and existence till today of Chinese majority settlements like Pandamaran, Jenjarom, Jinjang, and Kepong. Pandamaran is a free, fenceless and white area now and the racial community is mixed with Malaysian Chinese the majority. However gangsters and Ah Longs are common in Pandamaran. I remember the last time Najib came near to this area was during the funeral of the famous Dato Zek.
Whatever, I was not keen to attend the celebration anyway. There was a massive traffic jam, a drizzle to cool the far crowded atmosphere and Everton was hosting Manchester United. The program started at 1830 hours and I wasn’t bothered at all. I did my normal chore, went to the Mosque for my Maghreb and Isyakh prayer. There was a “kuliah ugama” between Maghreb and Isyakh and I went for a drink instead. The Preacher is someone from PAS and I was not interested to hear political talk instead of preaching the Islamic theology.
After Isyakh, the Mosque Treasurer organized a “khenduri tahlil” and the Imam announced inviting all the Jemaah. I was not interested too. It would be preferably better for me to attend the Chinese New Year function with the PM than to attend that khenduri. I don’t want to be associated with a Robber. The Mosque Treasurer was one of the three that illegally changed the signatories of the New Mosque fund at Bank Islam Klang. Their mean misdeed was uncovered and a Police report had been lodged. What the police do next is anyone guesses.
This Treasurer has no morale standing. On 1 February 2010 I organized and sponsored a private “khenduri tahlil” for my late sister among the Marhaban group at the Mosque and he attended uninvited. Few of them came uninvited and they don’t even have the cheek to thank me after walloping the food. Gosh! Don’t they know the basic rule in Islam? To consume food without the blessing of the provider is HARAM. I am not surprise though; they debited RM 300 from the New Mosque fund and spend it as a feast feeding the Jemaah. That money was “saham wakaf” money and any money that belongs to a “wakaf” must be handled in a true Islamic way. Debiting the money is already wrong, expense the money feeding the Jemaah is a bloody sin.
At the end of the night I hold on to my principle. It is a sin for Allah Messenger says:
“He who amongst you sees something abominable should modify it with the help of his hand; and if he has no strength enough to do it, then he should do it with his tongue. And if he has no strength enough to do it, (even) then he should (abhor it) from his heart and that is the least of faith.” (Muslim 79).
I did it with my heart.

My Dream Home.
It is just a simple country home that I dream off, four (4) bedrooms, single storey. Perhaps I can plan for an average size swimming pool at the back courtyard for the grandchildren to swim around. Shasha would love that and rests assure only thunder and lightning can convince her to come out. The best location would be facing a river or a mountain stream and the scenery would be gorgeous. Have a "dusun" or orchard at the back.
Currently I am hibernating counting my remaining days in a double storey terrace house with four (4) rooms, a walking distance from the Kampong Mosque. Sooner, the New Mosque would be ready and it is only about 300 meters away. I bought the house way back in 1981 and it cost me RM 110,000. By the time I completed the mortgage, the house cost me RM 187,000. I had spent all in all of renovations, about RM 70,000. At this age, the staircase is cumbersome.
The advantage is the society around, well located facing a Malay Kampong. If I were to build that dream house above, I had to start all over again getting to know people and perhaps the house location is isolated.
Nothing wrong to dream, it can fade you away to sleep soundly. If you think of problem, you can never sleep.

The Failed Takeover.
The Kampong JKKK wanted to take over management of the kampong graveyard. The kampong residents can smell why. With the takeover, JKKK would pass over to the Mosque Committee and in turn create the portfolio of Development Committee Bureau and the Chairman would automatically be the Chairman of the New Mosque. Very smart indeed but the cat can smell the rat.
To agitate the present harmonious environment, Kampong PAS Leader launched the first notorious salvo. He commented that the present Caretaker of the graveyard had benefitted in kind when Outsiders were being buried at the graveyard. It upset Imam 4 who is responsible of all matters pertaining deaths and burials in the kampong. The PAS Leader unsuspectingly did not know or pretending ignorant that Pejabat Agama Islam Daerah Klang had issued a letter dated 6 January 2010 addressed to the Mosque Nazir attaching JAIS Instruction of Bil 1/2007 that any Muslim can be buried at any graveyard in Selangor. I gave the PAS Leader the benefit of doubt that he did not know the existence of the letter and Circular.
Imam 4 and his two (2) Assistants confronted the Ketua Kampong on the graveyard issue. Imam 4 is ever willing to pass over the management of the graveyard provided the new management shoulders all responsibilities including the cleaning and washing of the dead. The Imams would absolve all responsibilities. In simple terminology the new management would supervise everything from A to Z the moment someone dies in the kampong. Imam 4 had been doing it since late 70s. On the responsibilities aspect the Ketua Kampong declined acceptance to the term & conditions tabled by Imam 4 and the Graveyard status remain status quo.
Where we are to be buried when Allah summons us to return had been destined by Allah right from “alam mahfuz”. No Muslim should dispute this. This is aqidah. If we are to be destined to be buried at sea, so be it, we may die fishing and never found. No Muslim should question where the deceased to be buried in any registered Muslim Graveyard available. The Earth belongs to Allah not to any members of any political parties.
Not the Graveyard of this article.
JKKK and Mosque Committee strategy had failed miserably on the attempted coup de tat. PAID letter and JAIS Circular is now laminated and posted at the Mosque Notice Board so that everybody knows especially PAS followers that the Kampong Graveyard is meant for all Muslims and no bad mouths can simply spread “fitnah”. In the first instance the Nazir or the Ketua Kampong should have done it moment they received PAID letter and JAIS Circular. The Ketua Kampong filing system is “rojak” and it took him several days to retrieve. It is important to keep documents at the prospective files and that is basic management. Does he know that?
May Allah bless Kampong Raja Uda.

Having employed by former British Plantation Company, one of the perk handed over was a sabbatical leave for every ten (10) years service. Sometimes I programmed company business immediately after the long service leave. Win-win situation, the Company saved and I got to see places. I managed to attack USA, east and west, once landed at Los Angeles and the other at Washington DC.
*Nominated by SIRIM Malaysia and with the approval of the Company CEO I was off to Washington DC and Vienna Austria to attend the ISO 14000 “Term & Definitions” Conference.
The best part, I flew westward to London, hopped to Washington DC, travelled US cities, landed in Los Angeles and flew back to Subang via Narita. The KGB Senior Manager circled the globe within twenty two (22) days. The adventure, which the kampong boy could never, dreamt of.

Quiet & Deadly Holidays.
It was Chinese New Year, Chinaman celebration and I don’t want to add to the overcrowded commotion on the road heading for respective destinations. I stay put at Port Klang.
First day Chinese New Year: Everything was quiet. George Lim and family my regular Chinese New Year visitation spent the Chinese New Year in Subang. I requested for Shasha to be sent over to the house and there she came smiling from afar. Brother Amran and wife came over for lunch and we had simple fried noodle and “nasi lemak”. After Asar we took Shasha for an outing to Jaya Jusco. She was not in full spirit as she was trying to keep awake. I bumped into my Dentist, Dr Sundraraj and I complimented him about the antibiotic he gave me which was very effective. Shasha insisted to be carried to the car as she was damn sleepy and the moment the car move, she dozed off. It was very convenient for me to send her home while asleep otherwise she normally reluctant. Only her father can pester her but this time the father was away in Indonesia.
Second day: All quiet, not a sound of any fire cracker. The Custom Department must have done a good job curtailing the illegal entry of fire crackers. For two hours I watched “Crime Investigation” on Astro. Whole daylight stayed at home. After Isyakh, the Marhaban group met and Wahab sponsored “mee curry”, Haji Wak Salim supplemented with “fried sukun” and Haji Zul brought “bubur kacang”. A number of uninvited Jemaah (non members) joined the “small makan” with the Marhaban Members & Associates. Their presence upset Wahab mood and he angrily left the Mosque. I finished the “bubur kacang” and I too left the Mosque for my normal puff. Similar incident happened during my sponsorship last week and due respect to Imam Khairuddin I did not walk off.
Outside the Mosque, I inquired about someone and my acquaintance told me that Mr. X who declared he has a PhD, is actually a bogus. This Mr. X once claimed that Pak Lah met him in absolute privacy and security at Wetland Putrajaya to initiate the investigation on PKFZ and he was involved on raiding Datin OC Phang Office. My acquaintance told me, that particular person when he was a small boy was caught fishing money from the Mosque Donation Safe. I remember that part of the story but I did not know it was him. Education wise, my acquaintance told me that he did not even passed SPM. Shit! I was bull shitted outright. Looking back, I am not the least surprise with this type of behaviors, and I think Mr. X suffers from an acute superiority complex syndrome and living in his own fantasies. We do have plenty of these types of specimens around. I did wonder before, a PhD holder hanging around in the Warong till early morning every night talking cock.
Twenty eight (28) people killed on the second day of Chinese New Year. It had surpassed the 100 mark ever since “Operation Sikap” was launched. When those people rushing back home to resume normal work, more dead bodies would be at the Hospital Mortuary. It happens, year in and year out at every festive seasons.

Dedicated to Castro and Sadam.
by Brian Cloughley, Posted February 9, 2010.
When strong governments wish to impose their will on weaker regimes, they often resort to sanctions. The effects have included the death or debilitation of millions of innocent people. Two good examples are Cuba, on which draconian U.S. sanctions have been enforced since 1960, and Iraq, where brutal sanctions were enforced from 1990 to 2003.
In 1959 the Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista was overthrown. He had ruled with the approval of Washington and the Mafia (who gave him a percentage on their casino operations). The dictator Castro took over and declared himself a communist, prompting the U.S. government to attempt to overthrow him. The illegal attempt to invade the country — the Bay of Pigs fiasco — was a national embarrassment for Washington, and the obvious revenge was to punish the country by the use of sanctions. Almost no contact with Cuba was allowed, and the effects have been monstrous.
Earlier this year the Cato Institute recorded,
The embargo has been a failure by every measure. It has not changed the course or nature of the Cuban government. It has not liberated a single Cuban citizen. In fact, the embargo has made the Cuban people a bit more impoverished, without making them one bit freer.
Dr. Michèle Barry points out in Annals of Internal Medicine,
Because economic sanctions result in shortages of food and medical supplies, their most severe consequences are often felt by the persons who are least culpable and most vulnerable....The U.S. embargo against Cuba, one of the few that includes both food and medicine, has been described as a war against public health with high human costs....
“Most severe consequences” were experienced by the people of Iraq when Washington succeeded in having UN sanctions imposed after Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in 1990. After the Iraqis were forced out of Kuwait, it was declared that the sanctions were intended to make Iraq comply with UN Security Council Resolution 687, which demanded that Iraq eliminate its weapons of mass destruction and that it recognize the nation-state of Kuwait, which, like America’s major Arab ally, Saudi Arabia, is ruled by an entirely nondemocratic regime.
The absurdity of UNSC 687 was that Rolf Ekeus, the UN representative responsible for identifying and destroying Iraq’s weaponry, had already certified that 817 out of Iraq’s 819 Iraqi long-range missiles had been destroyed. In 1999 a panel of the Security Council announced that all biological and chemical facilities “have been destroyed and rendered harmless.” But that did not deter the sanctions proponents, who imagined that immense national suffering would somehow bring down the despot Saddam.
In 1998 Christian Aid stated:
The policy of sanctions has also been used to pursue political goals — for example, the removal of the Iraqi regime — beyond the overt scope of Resolution 687, which contained no prescriptions regarding Iraq’s form of government or the conduct of domestic policy. The Iraqi population’s economic and social rights have been seriously infringed by the impact of a prolonged embargo. In an authoritarian state which continued to hold most of the levers of control, much of the burden caused by the embargo fell on the civilian population.
But innocent civilians did not matter to the rest of the world, much of which was duped by the United States and Britain into concluding that Iraq presented a threat to global security, a ridiculous notion.
Killing innocents.
In one of the most outrageously illegal acts of the many carried out by Washington and London, it was decided that there should be “no-fly zones” in the north and south of Iraq — covering about half the country — in which no Iraqi aircraft or radar was permitted to operate. (France at first joined in this travesty of legality but then withdrew after realizing that it was absurd and that it had no UN endorsement).
The purpose of the no-fly zones was ostensibly to protect the Shia population of the south and the Kurds in the north, but in fact they were intended, most successfully, to destroy Iraq’s civilian and defense infrastructure.
The zones had no basis in international law and complemented sanctions in a particularly savage manner. British and American fighter and bomber aircraft roamed the skies, attacking what they considered to be “legitimate targets.” But scores of civilians died, as in January 1999, when six children were killed by a plane-fired missile.
But we know that foreign children don’t always matter to war planners and their supporters. After all, when U.S. Ambassador to the UN Madeleine Albright was asked on television whether she considered the deaths of half a million children a reasonable result of U.S. sanctions, she replied, “This is a very hard choice, but ... we think the price is worth it.”
This callous, pitiless, utterly heartless statement by a most senior official of the U.S. government could have been made by any other U.S. government official. If anyone in an official position in America or Britain disagreed with the pronouncement that the avoidable deaths of half a million children were justified, he kept very quiet about it. They all knew what the policy was. It is notable that during Albright’s confirmation hearings preliminary to her becoming secretary of State, none of the senators questioned her on this point. The fact is that they didn’t disagree with it, making them complicit in the horrible deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi children.
U.S. attacks on Iraq in the no-fly zones were carefully planned, especially in the months immediately before the 2003 U.S.-led invasion by the deluded “coalition” that Washington cobbled together by means of deceit and downright lies about “weapons of mass destruction.” On September 5, 2002, for example, some 100 coalition aircraft bombed and rocketed a desert airstrip called H-3, deep in the far west of Iraq. There was no threat from the airfield, but it was planned that it be a base for U.S. Special Forces inserted from Jordan before the war began. It had to be neutralized. And this is but one example of cynical manipulation of an already illegal decree.
According to U.S. Lt. Gen. Michael Moseley, the coalition flew 21,736 sorties over southern Iraq between June 2002 and the start of the war in April 2003 — more than 60 a day. Three hundred forty-nine targets were attacked and Moseley claimed that U.S. and other aircraft were fired at 651 times. He had the grace to admit to the New York Times (which helped the Bush administration to convince Americans that the war was justified).
We became a little more aggressive based on them shooting more at us, which allowed us to respond more.... Then the question is whether they were shooting at us because we were up there more. So there is a chicken and egg thing here.
In fact Britain’s Ministry of Defense let the cat out of the bag by admitting that from March to November 2002 there were 8 alleged violations by Iraqi forces of the No-Fly Zone and 143 instances of “recorded threats.” In response, 253,000 pounds of bombs were dropped on Iraq. The number of rockets fired was not stated.
Bombs and rockets.
While illegal sanctions caused the premature but prolonged and usually agonizing death of countless innocent Iraqis, the illegal bombings and rocketings played a major part in destroying a country that will take decades to recover, if it ever does. The social consequences of attacks and sanctions have been truly terrible.
Electricity systems, wrecked beyond repair, were unable to supply power to hospitals and the civil population in general. But Saddam and his henchmen were not affected: they had plenty of generators — which were one of the thousands of items forbidden to be imported for ordinary people.
Christian Aid observed in 2000,
The immediate consequence of eight years of sanctions has been a dramatic fall in living standards, the collapse of the infrastructure, and a serious decline in the availability of public services. The longer-term damage to the fabric of society has yet to be assessed but economic disruption has already led to heightened levels of crime, corruption and violence. Competition for increasingly scarce resources has allowed the Iraqi state to use clan and sectarian rivalries to maintain its control, further fragmenting Iraqi society.
And that was before intensification of bombing and the tightening of already harsh controls on imports. These included six-month examinations of requests for importing such things as medical prescription drugs and substances required for water purification. By the time of approval (if given), most drugs were useless and thus dangerous, which may have been the intention. (Such things as aspirin and other pain-relievers were said to be ingredients for making chemical weapons).
There were some principled people who went public about the appalling human crisis inflicted on Iraq by the United States and its British ally. Dennis Halliday, who was head of the UN’s humanitarian program in Iraq, resigned in protest, as did his successor, Hans von Sponeck.
The death of some 5-6,000 children a month is mostly due to contaminated water, lack of medicines and malnutrition. The US and UK governments’ delayed clearance of equipment and materials is responsible for this tragedy, not Baghdad.
Their statement was blunt, to the point, and accurate — and completely ignored by the barbarians who considered the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children was “a price that was worth it.” The only honorable officials in the entire squalid sanctions horror were Halliday and von Sponeck, but of course they were reviled by those who knew well what effect the cruel sanctions would have and were having.
Oil for no food.
Then there was the “Oil for Food” program, which was begun in 1996 and became one of the biggest scams of modern times. According to the BBC, the Oil for Food program “was a $60bn (£32bn) scheme which was supposed to allow Iraq to buy food, medicine, and other humanitarian supplies with the proceeds of regulated oil sales, without breaking the sanctions imposed on it after its 1990 invasion of Kuwait.” Actually, it was a license for fraud and embezzlement and proved most lucrative to all sorts of lowlifes who profited from a government plan that purported to alleviate misery.
Instead of trying to alleviate starvation and disease, the sanctions administrators deliberately stalled on approving Oil for Food arrangements. The UN found that it took an average of 66 days for agreement to be reached on contracts and a further 59 days for food to be delivered. The intention was clear: no matter the desperate plight of children in Iraq, the sanctions would continue to be imposed with the utmost severity.
In spite of criminality and willful disruption of food and medical supplies, the child mortality rate declined as a result of the Oil for Food program. This was no thanks to such agencies as Britain’s Department of Trade and Industry, which prevented diphtheria and yellow-fever vaccines from being sent to Iraq, claiming that they could be used to make weapons of mass destruction.
In 1997, according to UNICEF, 25 percent of children under five were severely malnourished. They were especially vulnerable to water-borne diseases, such as typhoid and cholera that were unknown in Iraq before the Gulf War of 1991.
To end this sad tale of death and despair on Iraq, the words of the honorable Dennis Halliday are appropriate.
Do not impact on governance effectively and instead [they damage] the innocent people of the country…. For me what is tragic, in addition to the tragedy of Iraq itself, is the fact that the United Nations Security Council member states ... are maintaining a program of economic sanctions deliberately, knowingly killing thousands of Iraqis each month. And that definition fits genocide.

KRU Mosque under construction.
Mosque frontage.
Mosque facing kiblat (see the sun setting).
Side Entrance.
Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor.
Dated: 04 February 2010.
To: Nazir, Masjid Kampong Raja Uda,
Chairman, Protem Committee New Mosque, KRU.
Subject: STATUS OF PROTEM COMMITTEE OF NEW MOSQUE KRU.
Reference to the above and arising from the Meeting at JAIS Klang on 25 January 2010, JAIS had decided on the following:
1. All Bank accounts of the New Mosque is to be terminated and all fund to be transferred to the account of Trustee, Construction of New Mosque, Majlis Agama Islam Selangor.
2. The Committee of the New Mosque is now assigned to the Development Bureau of KRU Mosque.
3. Chairman of KRU Mosque Development Bureau is appointed as Chairman of the New Mosque Committee.
4. The present Chairman of the New Mosque Protem Committee is to be appointed as Vice Chairman and all the current Committee Members stands.
5. Report on the development of the New Mosque is to be presented at every KRU Mosque Committee Meeting.
6. RM 300 to be debit from the KRU Mosque account and credit into the New Mosque account.
The above is to be implemented with immediate effect.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation of the above.
Signed:
S.S Dato Hj Mohammed Khusrin bin Haji Munawi.
Director, JAIS.
There is no Development Bureau at KRU Mosque. However there is Social & Welfare Bureau chaired by Major (Rtd) Haji Bostamam bin Alias @ Elias. That portfolio is quite similar to Development Bureau and his name was nominated during the Meeting on 25 January 2010 which the Protem Committee agreed. Nazir still insisted either him or the Secretary to be the Chairman. JAIS disagreed and the letter dated 04 February was issued. (see, above).
I don’t think it’s all over to the satisfaction of the Nazir & gang. Item 2 is subjective and they will insist that the New Mosque Committee is under KRU Mosque jurisdiction. They would manipulate and however maintain that the Protem Committee is/was HARAM. I am not in the least surprise they would change the portfolio of the present Chairman of KRU Mosque Social & Welfare Bureau. The Nazir had shown disrespect to the Director of MAIS and JAIS and on this issue they would act and bulldoze the same.
The point is, for as long as not the Nazir, Secretary or the Treasurer of KRU Mosque nominated by JAIS to be the Chairman of the New Mosque Development, majority of the Jemaah and the Kampong residents are more than happy. It is a win-win situation. The Nazir surely cannot take all as he must consider the sweat, pain and the obstacles the Protem Committee went through, to make believe a new House of Allah in Kampong Raja Uda stands, right from zero to what it is now. The Nazir & gang have nothing to fear as all fund of the New Mosque account will be transferred under the custody of JAIS. (see, item 1).
Insyallah the Mosque under construction would be ready for prayer by early 2011 and if the Nazir maintain his current position, the Mosque would be handed over to him and his Committee. What’s the problem? See no problem in it, after mission accomplished.
All the episodes had been predetermined by Allah to test our faith unto HIM. If you don’t believe in Allah destiny, then you have a lot to do on soul searching.
There is no questions at all that the New Mosque Protem Committee as HARAM which the Nazir labeled. If it was, JAIS would have dissolved all the Committee Members and appointed a new set. The fact that JAIS had requested the return of RM 300 which was illegally withdrawn by Nazir & gang clearly indicated that they were not authenticated to do so. The harmony of the Jemaah was in disarray when the Nazir removed the New Mosque Notice Board and locked up the Donation Safes of the New Mosque.
JAIS had come out with a written (black & white) instruction and I hope the Nazir understands Bahasa Malaysia and abide to all. Please for goodness sake, let the administrative aspect of the Mosque construction run smoothly without any interruption from him & gang and by early 2011 KRU residents and surroundings would have a grand Mosque.
Let’s work together, collect as much donations as we can, so that we can equip the New Mosque with modern and high tech facilities. We need chandeliers, air condition units, PA system, carpets, chairs, tables, computers, facilities handling Jenazah and others. The New Mosque has only about RM 60,000 at Bank Islam and RM 300,000 at Bank Muamalat. Please dont lock the New Mosque Donation Safes anymore.
Saidina Uthman said, I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, “Whoever builds a Mosque, desiring thereby Allah pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in Paradise”.
I was a Committee Member during the planning stage of this New Mosque until I resigned due to health problem in October 2003. The impending New Mosque is very sentimental to me.
