Further to posting on above subject dated 04 June 2010.
Reference to the appeal letter stating consequential events by Haji Shamsuddin Razak to ROS Putrajaya on 21 May 2010, the appeal had been considered in principle and a fee of RM 50.00 had been paid to ROS Selangor. The fee was paid in accordance to instruction by ROS Putrajaya. A Meeting was held at ROS Selangor on 17 June 2010 and in most cases appeal of deregistration would be considered after due explainations. Though deregistration took effect on 26 August 2009, it only came to Members knowledge only on 11 May 2010. Within ten (10) days an appeal was submitted to ROS Putrajaya.
Therefore the formation and election of Protem Committee to register the BADAN with ROS under a new name should be put on hold. Since ROS Selangor had notified the Department of Insolvency, ROS Selangor would inform the Department to keep the matter on hold.
As soon as the Interior Minister endorsed ROS Putrajaya recommendation, the Khairat Kematian can operate as per normal and reconvene the suspended AGM.
I pray that all well that would end well and at the end of the day, all goes well and expected well and good (pesangka baik). Let’s not disappoint our long gone elders who started the BADAN way back on 14 January 1969. It was forty one (41) years ago. Al-fathihah to those who are watching from the graves.
Whatever……the account statement from 2003 to 2009 must be accounted for and straighten up. Don’t fool around as it involves monetary donations to ease the burden of a family who lose their love one. Part of the money could belong to an orphan (harta anak yatim). Allah is watching.
To those who would be holding positions at the next AGM, appreciate sincerity on handling this BADAN and treat the 11 May 2010 debacle as a lesson and a boundary stone. The Malay proverb says “If you want to kill the mosquito, you don’t burn down the whole mosquito net”. People around you would say you are bloody stupid idiots and must be banished. Eventually the idiots are capable burning the whole house down.
