KRU New Mosque as at 30 September 2010.

The last time I went to the site and recorded its status was on 3 August 2010, before Ramadan. Nearly two (2) months later, the following shots are the status. Hopefully by March 2011, it should be ready insyaalah provided the weather permit.

(Unfortunately I took these photos after a heavy downpour and some areas were wet and messy).

It was announced at the Mosque during Aidilfitri on 10 September 2010 that a New Mosque Development Committee had been formed. However, the former Committee which had been rested (by some JAIS Officials) was not informed officially in writing. Rather confusing, JAIS (Bahagian Pembagunan) invited officially in writing the former Chairman and Vice chairman of the rested Developement Committee to attend a Meeting on 27 September 2010 to discuss on the utilization of the New Mosque fund which is currently in MAIS custody. The amount is about RM 398,000.00. If they had been rested where is the relevancy of being invited to the Meeting? Strange but that’s the truth.

Side note for record: The Menara of the existing Mosque was removed on 29 September 2010 as it had cracked and became Leaning Tower of Kampong Raja Uda. Before a mishap occurred (this time they addressed the problem fast and intelligently), the Mosque Committee removed the Menara.
