The Meeting at Pejabat Agama Islam Daerah Klang between the Protem Committee of the New Mosque and the Mosque Committee of Kampong Raja Uda on 25 January 2010 Monday had decided that the Protem Committee is valid however the Chairman of the Protem Committee must be from the Mosque Committee. It was unanimously agreed by the Protem committee that Major (Rtd) Haji Bustamam bin Alias@ Elias from the Mosque Committee to be appointed as Chairman of the New Mosque Protem Committee. The Nazir is still not satisfied and would call for the Mosque Committee Meeting to endorse the name. Since a Police Report had been lodged against the Nazir, Secretary and Treasurer, their names were not considered. The validity of the Protem Committee is now solved and no one can label it as HARAM.

Having obtained the HALAL label and confirmed that it is no more HARAM, few of the Mosque qariah took the opportunity to put back the New Mosque Notice Board to its original place on 25 January 2010 after the Isyakh prayer. The Board was taken down on the early morning of 7 July 2009 on the instruction of the Nazir and Secretary. The Notice Board was kept in the Mosque Meeting Room for nearly six (6) months. Now young and old can be updated of the New Mosque construction development.

In actual fact it was a non issue if they had not taken down the Notice Board, locked the Donation Safes and gunned down publicly the former Nazir during the Aidilfitri congregation. The worst scenario when they discreetly changed the signatories at Bank Islam which resulted to a Police Report. Much that I know through my working experience, changing of signatories at the Bank must be supported with authorized documentation. Absent of any is contravening to Banking Procedures. Is it a crime? I leave it to your own judgment.

The misdeeds as described led to a MEMORANDUM to the HRH the Sultan of Selangor and still pending. The citizens of Kampong Raja Uda are currently anxiously waiting for the outcome which is still on the table of MAIS and JAIS. The qariah had been patience and treading the event step by step, one at a time. Confront the problem with sheer diplomacy contrary to being arrogance, as exhibited by some. We have to treat the mosque institution with respect and discipline.

As we enter the Mosque gate, leave the political ideology there and collect it when you exit. You and me are facing the same direction when we solat. The direction is neither Putrajaya nor Rhu Redang. Altogether we are facing Mekah.

Let the win win situation prevail so that when we face Allah in solat during prayers in the Mosque we can give full concentration (khusyuk). The Mosque is not a breeding ground to make neither enemies nor foe and as we stand shoulder to shoulder in the shaf a sign of unity. Don’t create one unnecessary and intentionally.

Whatever we do we are answerable to Almighty Allah and the Almighty knows and know all. Allah knows the “nawaitu” (intentions). Paradise and Hell of Fire is waiting for our arrival depending on which way we want to head to.
