Finally, for my Indians and Srilankan friends.

Indians, Sri Lankans and Singh should read.
Time and time again the opposition pact, Pakatan Rakyat (PR), has hurled accusations at Barisan Nasional (BN).

Despite the government’s earnest and forthright dealings and transparency in administration, the opposition has not ceased its attacks of cheap rumors and dirty tricks at hoodwinking the public.

Here we have combed through the various PR-linked media and blogs to bring to you the top 7 myths that the opposition rumor mills have created.

Myth 1: The Phantom 300,000
Until today, PR has yet to substantiate its claim of 300,000 stateless Indians in Malaysia despite its unrelenting accusation of the government sidelining the welfare and rights of Malaysian Indians.

If we are to analyze that accusation, 300,000 stateless Indians would mean 1 in every family of 6 is without an IC. Quite preposterous, don’t you think?

While the figure is surely exaggerated, the government is aware that there is a small segment of the Indian community which does not have the proper documents. To address the problem, the MyDaftar programmed was established in 2011 by Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

Since the programmed was launched, about 15,000 people have applied for the Malaysian IC.

Myth 2: The Electoral Cheat

Bersih’s repeated requests and demonstrations for a reform of the current electoral system have been prudently been reviewed and appointed by the government, proving that the government and BN were committed to upholding the democratic institution of the nation.

Its 8 demands, which are to clean up of the electoral roll; reform of postal ballot; use of indelible ink; minimum 21 days of campaign period; free and fair access to mass media for all parties; strengthening of public institutions; no corruption; and no dirty politics.

In spite of the government’s compliance of Bersih’s demands, Bersih and its members continue to hurl accusations that the EC is unfair. At the end of the day, if BN wins fairly based on the people’s sincere votes, PR and Bersih will always slam the win as a win through cheat.

Myth 3: The Family Politics

PR loves to drum up that BN has always and will always keep the power within the family. However, what they do not realize is that it is their own party that plays the nepotism game and not BN.

While it is true that there are current ministers whose fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or fathers-in-law were former ministers themselves, there is no BN member who is currently sitting in Parliament or State Assembly together with their father or son unlike the Lim Guan Eng and father Lim Kit Siang or Karpal Singh and son Gobind Singh of DAP.

There is even the father-mother-daughter trifecta of PKR who are in the game to win ensuring the father sits at the head of the Parliament.

Myth 4: The Ringgit Metre

Corruption has always been a problem the government has grappled with; it has been an issue that the BN leaders have tried to combat ever since the beginning.

The problem with corruption is not as what PR leaders claim: it is not those sitting in the parliament and cabinet who are involved with corruption but it happens somewhere down the chain of command. Our culture is one in which the people resort to bribing and giving “gifts” in order to get some work done.

The government and BN have done their best and continue to implement regulations that will curtail this problem. However, what PR does is to accuse the BN leaders of being corrupt, saying that they drive big cars, live in lavish mansions and spend money frivolously.

What they fail to note is that even within their coalition, there are members who have recorded cases of corruption. Example below;
1) The RM30 Million logging contract given by Kelantan State Government to company owned by YB Nga Kor Ming of DAP, Perak.

2) The sand mining contract given by Selangor State Government to its elected state rep YB Amirudin bin Shari from PKR.

Myth 5: The Tamil Factor

Between 2009 and 2013, the government has spent RM540 million for the development of Tamil schools through its Special Government Programme. The government funding has been wisely spent on improving the infrastructure and facilities of the 523 existing Tamil schools.

Not only has the development programme managed to give a much-needed facelift to the schools, the improved facilities and infrastructure as well as the development of the academia has all translated to one main improvement: the fortification of the quality of education.

All these have been done through BN efforts without much support from the PR state governments.

For instance, the Kedah state government has yet to provide land promised. As for Selangor, the PKR-led state is always blowing the Midlands Tamil School horn, which is just an isolated case in comparison to the over 300 Tamil schools built and upgraded by BN nationwide.

Myth 6: The Temple Sanctity

For a long time, the opposition has accused BN of oppressing the freedom of Hindus in Malaysia, claiming that BN is responsible for demolishing temples and shrines.

While there were some demolitions done in the past to tear down illegal structures, after Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak came to office in 2009, BN has not touched even a single temple. However, since the same period of time, PR-led states have demolished 7 temples.

In Selangor itself, four temples have been demolished in Pandamaran, Ampang, Glenmarie and Serendah. Over in Kedah, a temple in Taman Petani Jaya was torn down. More recently, a stint by the Sepang Municipal Council saw council officers tearing down a shrine in a private residence.

The atrocities of PR in which the party is attacking the Hindus of Malaysia must not be forgotten by the people.

Myth 7: The Judicial Independence

PR’s claim that the Malaysian judiciary system is controlled by BN is complete hogwash.

Since Merdeka, the judiciary system has upheld its independence and its autonomy from the government so as not to impede the judiciary process. Should PR’s claims be true, BN politicians would not be charged in court nor would PR politicians win their suits in court.

How then would have former Selangor Chief Minister Khir Toyo be sentenced to one year in jail or Anwar Ibrahim win his suit against Utusan Malaysia?

To dispel the rumours surrounding the judiciary, Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria in January reaffirmed the judiciary’s commitment to uphold its independence and would continue to strengthen itself as an institution against any attempt to undermine its independence.

Clearly PR knows that it is losing the battle in gaining public trust so it has resorted to smearing BN in hopes to sway public trust to its camp.
However, all it can do is smear, spread lies and create panic in the public without having concrete proof. BN has led the country remarkably and valiantly since Merdeka and it is vital for the rakyat to not be swayed by sweet talk and promises of mere words.

Burnt Down.

I was in the bathroom when the Fire Brigade screaming downs the road on Saturday 23 February at about 1715 hrs. I went downstairs to the road to investigate and I saw flame rocketing sky high from a house in front of the Mosque.

I walked to the place of incident which is about 200 meters away from my house and to my astonishment it was my good buddy’s house belong to Malek Ahmad. There was nothing anybody could do and the Firemen were busy dowsing the flame.

What is left of the House.

All residents were safe. Malek’s elder sister who is bed ridden was carried out by a Good Samaritan who was at the Mosque and saw smoke gulfing to the air. His elder brother who also had a stroke with his OKU son was outside the house when the mishap occurred. Malek younger brother, Ali and Malek himself was not in the house. No life affected syukur alhamdullillah.

The house was completely burnt down and nothing in the house was able to be evacuated. Malek’s classic Honda Cup parked at the porch was the only valuable item could be safe.

I am really sorry for Malek as he is one of my closest friends in the kampong. Malek is always my companion, my sparring partner whenever he is free. We use to travel together to see the country seeking adventure and sighting new places. “Jalan jalan cari pasal and cari makan”. He drives and I do the talking.

For my Chinese friends.

Following article written by a Chinaman, initial SYA.

Is Malaysian Government Really That Bad Towards The Chinese Community?

Let us just compare the fate, destiny and life of the Chinese in the rest of the other world.
Thailand and Indonesian Chinese.

Chinese in Thailand and Indonesia cannot even use their own Chinese name in their country like the Chinese in Malaysia. If you Google then you will realized that the racism and hatred towards Chinese in Indonesia is that bad until they even have a riot to killed and raped Chinese in Indonesia.

Chinese in Western Country (United States , Australia , Canada , United Kingdom )

Just GOOGLE racism towards Chinese in any of the western country and you will realized that the racism towards Chinese is those country is worst that you could ever imagined.

A lot of my friends who is currently studying in western country told me that the racism is that bad the Western hate the Asians to the extent of being rude to them in the restaurant and she even saw an Australian slapping a Asian kid and said I hate Asians.

Chinese in China

Although China is growing rapidly but do you know how many Billions of Chinese in China is still suffering from extreme poverty each day? Do you know that there are still large group of Chinese in China who work without being paid but just work to get daily food instead of money? To the extent of so many China girls need to come over to Malaysia and other part of the world to work in Massage Center ( Food and Body Massage ) and most even as a prostitute ?

Chinese in Malaysia

Although there are still a lot of weakness and problems (it happen in every part of the world) but we are the only country in the entire world with 2 education system in the world. The National System and the Vernacular System (Chinese Education) that you can never find it in any western country or even Asian country like Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore etc.

In any democratic country we must know who are the majority and minority. And even in a country like Singapore where the Malays are the minority the Singapore Government does not even have a Malay Education System for the Malays. They only got their one and only main Singapore National Education system.

The poverty of the Chinese in Malaysia is among the lowest in entire world. The rate of poverty of Chinese race in Malaysia is many times way lower than China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand and etc etc.

More than 85% of the Top 100 Richest Man in Malaysia are all Chinese.

Among all the multiracial country in the world, Malaysian got the most Chinese representative in the Government in the world. Among the minority group in the entire world, the Chinese in Malaysia is considering extremely lucky compare to many other countries minorities in the entire world.

More than 80% of the Chinese in Malaysia are the one living in the City, buying Big houses, Assets and Cars. Some may say that because we are smart, hardworking and we deserved to have a good lifestyle but did any of you ever think that without political and economical stability then how on earth the Chinese can even earn so much and enjoy their life in Malaysia where many Chinese in other part of the world do have such capabilities but do not have such opportunity to earn that much or some even being able to earn but not being able to enjoy their wealth peacefully?

I have to admit that there are still racism in our country but if the racism level is really that bad then how on earth can the Smart and Hardworking Chinese can even have the opportunity to ‘cari makan ‘ ?

Most Malaysian Chinese will only make noise for all the things that they do not have while never even for once mention all the things that they have already had?

Some may give example of how a Black American like Barrack Obama can be the President of the United States without knowing the facts that it takes US 446 years of democratic electoral system to have Black American President compare to our Malaysian democratic electoral system that not yet even reach 60 years. Even that does u know how tight is the US President Security system to prevent the Skin Head plan to assassinate and kill Obama because of his skin colour?

We will complaint about Ali Baba policy and yet accused it benefit entirely only the Malays community but do you know how many Chinese Malaysian became a Millionaire out of this Ali Baba system?

We talk about corruption but do you all know behind every single so ‘called’ racist UMNO politician there do have their own Chinese businessman as their proxy and crony?

Corruption is wrong. But the issue here that I am trying to convey is about racism. If it is really about race then why should the so called Racist UMNO Malays even have their crony from the Chinese race instead of their own races entirely?

If the Malays in Malaysia is really racist then are we the Malaysian Chinese not racist as well? Whenever we uses the word Chinese, Chinese, Chinese? We must have a Chinese Prime Minister and etc? If we are truly color blind then the demand should be what type and quality of PM we should have and not what race should or should not be the head.

When our civil servant got more than 80% of the Malays, we claimed that the Government is racist but then in reality it was the Chinese who choose to work in the private sector than the public sector. Why should we blame others for something that we ourselves do not want to be part of it?

Most Malays are easily contented with the pay in the public sector while most Malaysian Chinese will never want to have that type of pay. So when you all do not want it and others want it and when it happen you all blame the government of being racist when most of the Malays are in the Army and Police sector?

My Comment:

In Malaysia we cannot win all. We got to give and take. Win some, lose some. If all Malaysian Chinese can think and rationalize as SYA, then Malaysia can take on the World. Malaysian already planning for a speed train KL to Singapore in 90 minutes comes 2020. Next could be undersea tunnel between Melaka and Sumatra. Apa lagi?

The bottom line, a peaceful and harmonious country where we all can live happily within the context of the Constitution and the Law. Hari Raya, we go to a Ali’s house, Kong Hee fatt Choy we go to Ah Kow’s house, Deepavali we go to Muthu’s house, and Christmas we go to John’s house. Where got problem? We happy happy, everybody is happy and the country, problem free? Don’t touch on others’ religion and cultural sensitivity. Very simple, isn’t it?
