The Announcement.

I overheard from the house that the Mosque Nazir pleaded to the jemaah not to destroy the Mosque’s property. It was later confirmed by those who were presence in the Mosque at that point of time. The Nazir found out that the air conditions switches box which was under lock and key was deliberately broken.

Broken? Why? It was broken by one of the Jemaah who was so fed up with the current heat wave, the air conditions could not be switched on as only the Nazir has the key to the switches box and he or any of his Committee Members are the only people authorized to switch on the air conditions. The Mosque is a place where all Muslim congregate to perform prayers and it does not belong to any individual. The best part it was broken by one of the Committee Member.

The Mosque Nazir is good for locking. Once he locked the New Mosque Donation Safes. He prevented Jemaah from donating to the good cause of the New Mosque construction. He also removed the New Mosque Notice Board and locked it away in the Meeting Room.

Why the air conditions were not switch on? The Mosque has no money to pay electricity bill. The Mosque has no problem with fund during the BN era. Now they have even set a special box on Friday to collect donations specially to pay electricity bill. What I can see, the problem is due to lacking of budgetary control management. The main problem of the entire problems, the Mosque Committee is not Jemaah friendly, so Jemaah are unwilling to cooperate and donate financially. They just don’t care. They come to the Mosque, pray and go home. The Nazir and the Committee do not listen to constructive suggestions and they just want to adapt to their own ways of managing the Mosque. As they said it is a reflection of a new Government of Pakatan Rakyat and in this kampong, PAS is domain.

Coincidentally……..on the same night the New Mosque Contractor tested the New Mosque lighting system and I observed there are twelve (12) spotlights pointing to the Dome. I wonder when they manage this New Mosque within a couple of month time, how and where they are going to get the fund to pay the electricity bill alone.

The kampong Jemaah are itching for the 13th upcoming General Election or the completion of the current term so that we can elect a new set of Committee Members who can serve with fullest dedication for Allah sake, not for the ulterior motive of vengeance. We would elect personalities who are really capable of managing and those who know financial accounting.

Currently JAIS and JKKK are of no assistance to the Jemaah predicament as those people belong to the same political ideologies. We just leave it to Allah for He knows and see all. Only time will tell.
