(At time of photography the weather was hazy).
The left and right side of the main prayer room had been roofed. Certain floor area outside the main prayer room had been tiled. Workers were seen addressing the right side entrance, concreting and plastering. The spandex walling at the Mosque frontage had been removed and workers were laying the concrete culverts at the drain. The New Mosque is now in full view of passerby at Jalan Lengkongan. Some even slow down to admire the magnificent structure.
The Mimbar and Imam Pulpit remain status quo; however the wooden staircase to the Mimbar had been installed. The Mehrab wall still remains empty. Work on washrooms and ablution area still in progress. I did noticed stock piles of flooring tiles are ready inside the main prayer room set to be laid.
It is twenty (20) days to Ramadan and my perception the New Mosque would not be fully completed in time for the Holy month. Yours truly would be away from the community for the whole of Ramadan and insyaalah would be back on the eve of Aidilfitri. It would be a bonus if I can perform the solat Aidilfitri at the New Mosque. Insyaalah or GOD willing.
Allah blesses those who are patience.
