Here I Go Again.

Coming school long term break, Muslims will plan to perform the Umrah. This time around I am rather fortunate to lead thirty eight (38) Jemaah to perform the Umrah to the Holy Land. Before that we will spend three (3) days in Dubai to visit the most modern Islamic City in the world. The journey will begin on 3rd December to 15th December with Dubai as our first stop.

I just hope Emirate can give us this flight at any one sector from KUL to DXB to JED and from MED to DXB to KUL.

Desert Safari.

On 5th December, we will fly to Jeddah and overland to Mecca to perform the Umrah. We will stay several days in Mecca.

Masjidilharam

On 12th December, the final destination will be Medina and will take off from Medina for home on 15th December.

The Raudah

The Holy Prophet Shrine.

Masjidil Nabawi
Masjid Quba - the first Mosque The Holy Prophet built in Medina.

It is rather unfortunate I cannot celebrate my 70th birthday in the Holy Land as my birth date fall on 17th December. Last year, I attained my 69th in Medina. My cousin brother, Dato Abdul Malek Shazili and my sister in law Madam Rosidah Musa who will be joining me for this Umrah trip will be celebrating their birthday in the Holy Land.

I am looking forward for the stopover in Dubai as this will be my first time in that City. We had arranged the program for desert safari and overlooking Dubai from the Burg Khalifah.

The last time I was in the Holy Land was in August this year and this is one place in the world, I keep on going. At this place I feel myself nearer to Almighty Allah swt. In Medina whenever I pray or ikhtikaf at Masjidil Nabawi, The Holy Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) is very near to me as he was enshrined in the Mosque within. I find peace and solitude within me.
