Hazliza Hatta 1970 - 2015.

Alfateeha……..

Allahyarhamah Hazliza Hatta 1970 - 2015.

She was called back to the Kingdom of Almighty Allah on 27 May 2015 at 0010 hrs in Penang. Hazliza succumbed to liver cancer. The sad and shocking news was transmitted by her Mum at 0200 hrs in the morning. For a minute I was stunned, disbelieving the sudden demise of Liza, the name I used to address her. The last time I met Allahyarhamah Liza was many years ago but I followed her via her face book and wellbeing update, from her Mum.

I anticipated attending Liza’s funeral but she was lying in state in Penang and her body was laid to rest at Penang at Gelugor Muslim Burial Ground. From a distant I wish and “doa” that Liza will be in the safe hand of Almighty Allah in janntul firdaous and may Liza is forever peaceful among the almukminin.

I regret for unable to visit Liza since she was diagnosed of her ailment. However I managed to get a kilo of ajwa date all the way from Medina and ten (10) liters of zam zam holy water for dear Liza as requested by her Mum.

Allahyarhamah Hazliza left behind five (5) children, three (3) boys and two (2) girls; the youngest girl is only one and half years old. The eldest boy is studying at UPM, first year.

Liza five children.

Hazliza was born on 14 September 1970 and married to Fuad Mohd Yusof on 30 October 1994. Liza was a full time housewife after she left Sime Bank. Allahyarhamah Liza was three (3) years old when her late father an RMAF Pilot succumbed to his death in 1973 during an air accident. Liza shared the same Grave as her late father.

Deepest condolence to all Allahyarhamah Hazliza Hatta family members.

Tabung Haji and 1MDB.

Untuk renungan bersama.

Bagunan Tabung Haji.

Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Rahim,

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahih Wabarakatuh,

Adakah mereka mengetahui managementdan bisnes TH?

Jangan Ulangi Jual Bangunan MAS

Seorang pelajar berkata, jika TH menjual semula tanah itu hanya kerana putar belit pembangkang, katanya ia satu kebodohan of the year.

Katanya lagi, jika TH benar-benar memerlukan wang, jika TH amat terdesak dan memerlukan wang, maka baharulah masuk akal jika dijual dalam tempoh yang singkat. Katanya lagi, sudahlah aset TH melebihi RM50 Billion sekarang, apalah sangat nilai pembelian tanah itu (RM188.5juta) jika keuntungan berlipatkali ganda pada 2018 nanti.

Katanya lagi, jangan ulangi kesilapan menjual bangunan MAS !

DS Abdul Azeez Rahim Ada 2 Pilihan

Salam hormat,

Al-Azharri Siddiq,

ISU Tabung Haji Properties (THP) Sdn.

Bermacam-macam tuduhan dibuat kononnya wang pendeposit Tabung Haji digunakan.

1. Jika kita memeriksa (update) buku Tabung Haji sekarang, adakah wang simpanan kita berkurangan?

Mari kita senaraikan bidang pelaburan kumpulan Tabung Haji melalui anak syarikatnya:-

1. BIMB Holding Sdn. Bhd.
2. TH Propertes Sdn. Bhd.
3. TH Alam Holdings (L) Inc.
4. TH Plantations Sdn. Bhd.
5. TH Hotels and Residence Sdn. Bhd.
6. LTH Property Investment (L) Inc.
7. Theta Edge Berhad
8. TH Marine Sdn. Bhd.
9. LTH Property Holdings 2 Limited
10. THC International Sdn Bhd
11. TH Estates (Holdings) Sdn Bhd

A Long Day.

21.5.2015: Soon as I arrived at Almukminin Office in Shah Alam at 1115 hrs, I was summoned to go downstairs immediately as Haji Mokhdzar and Syam was waiting in the car.

I hopped in and the destination was Putrajaya to attend Bumitra Seminar at PICC (Putrajaya International Convention Center). I wasn’t dressed formally and I decided not to enter Seminar Hall 1, instead to linger around PICC, my first time being there.

Haji Mokhdzar took the wheel and went cross country by taking a long route to Putrajaya via Jalan Kebun, Klang Banting Road, Banting KLIA Highway heading for Dengkil passing through Telok Panglima Garang. I just sat quietly and enjoy the sceneries along the bumpy route. I did not know what was his plan.

Suddenly he broke journey at Dengkil town for lunch, of all places. The once upon a time the Cowboy town is now bustling after its neighbors, Putrajaya and KLIA developed. We entered Restoran Bunga Cengkih and the name sounds odd to me. It was really odd as ordered menu was served in clay pot. We ordered “smoked beef masak lemak cilia api”, “duck egg masak lemak cilia api”, (both in clay pot) mixed vegetable and rice served with sambal belacan with few slices of cucumber. It was very appetizing but I refused second helping as I normally practice light lunch.

We arrived at PICC at 1400 hrs and straight away to the Surau for my zohor prayer. Haji Mokhdzar registered for the Seminar while Syam and I decided to linger around. At the Lobby, there were long line of gentleman formally dressed lining up on both sides of a red carpet. Soon I learnt Cabinet Ministers and the Prime Minister would be arriving. Sirens blared as Cabinet Ministers in line were arriving. Finally the Prime Minister himself arrived with all the Police cars and escorts. We just watched from a distant and we also knew the Police and the Special Branch were watching us too.

Thereafter passing the time, I recorded my presence at PICC and took several angles shots of Putrajaya down below from PICC. I really adore Putrajaya layout and proud of its existence. From Prang Besar Palm Oil Estate transformed to the main Administrative Center of the Nation. Thank you Tun Mahathir, even though off late, his statements send chilled down my spine. As of Putrajaya, I take off my hat, the pride of Malaysia.

It was time for asar and we adjourned to the Surau again. After prayer I sat down at the row of chairs at the Surau entrance and suddenly one familiar faces approached and sat beside me. He picked up conversation as he was buckling his shoe after performing his asar prayer. He was the Minster in the Prime Minister Department, Dato Seri Abdul Wahid bin Omar. He politely asked me the program I was attending at PICC. My humble reply was escorting a friend attending the Bumitra function. He acknowledged he knew about it and commented that he saw several attendees. Inquisitively, I asked him why the Ministers including the Prime Minister were around at PICC. He told me that the Cabinet is having a “Think Tank” session prior to a Cabinet Meeting postponed to Friday due to the Parliamentary session last Wednesday. Personally I find that he is down to earth, Allah fearing, soft spoken and polite. We shook hands and he made his way to Seminar Hall 2.

Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar - Minister at PM Dept.
Syam and I sat down for tea at the nearby Restaurant until Haji Mokhdzar absconded from the Seminar at 1700 hrs.

Arrived at Shah Alam at 1725 hrs, picked up my Rolls Royce and headed home base Port Klang.

Phew!!!..................it was a long day all right, even my hand phone battery drained off. The consolation, I came face to face with a Cabinet Minister.

Down Memory Lane.

16.05.2015 – the Meeting of Old Boys and Girls of Government English School (GES) Tapah renamed Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Buyung Adil (SMKBA) at the school Hall.

School Hall.

I studied at GES Tapah from Form 1 to 3 (1960 – 1962) and a resident of the School Hostel. It was informed that the Hostel would soon be demolished to make way for new building. On that score I made an effort to attend the function though I am currently residing in Port Klang. The last I was at the Hostel was a few days of 1963 school term.

Hit the road up north at 0815 hrs and reached Tapah at 1030 hrs exiting at Bidor. To my dismay, not many of my batches were present. The familiar faces that I know off were Dato Malik Ahmad, Ali Abbas, D.G. Gunasegran and Madam Lee Tet Fong (Form 1 – 1960). The juniors were Datin Zawiyah, Rahimah Rahim, Alina Mustaffa and Jamil Rahim.

The Program:

Morning session: School choir and speeches by the School Pengetua and Pengerusi PIBG.

The session adjourned for lunch at 1300 hrs – 1400 hrs. Buffet lunch at Ground Floor of the Hall.

After lunch, Dato Malik and I walked down memory lane toward the Hostel. It brought back nostalgic memory walking down the same corridor in the 60s. The Hostel is completely changed as it is now only for girls. During my time it was for poor kampong Malay boys like me. I was surprise the Hostel was completely closed during weekend and the residents all back to their home base. During my time the Hostel never sleeps except during school term break. I saw the same kitchen chimney that cooked my food for three years (1960 – 1962).

I revisited the Hostel after fifty three (53) years.

I stood in front of the Hostel and recollected all the nostalgic memories. I remember the Hostel mates that had been summon to meet Almighty Allah. From sources came to me - Mohamad Abdullah, Sulaiman Sahab, Hamzah De Souza, Fadzli Tajuddin, Jamaluddin Tajuddin, Zahari Yahaya, Suhaimi, Ngah Abdul Wahab, Salam Sarijo, Syed Tajul Ariffin, Baniamin Jalaluddin, Fahami Yahaya, Tamrin Yahaya, Zulkifli Taib and Yaakub Abdul Rahman.

Alfatihah to all my fallen acquaintance.

We ended the tour of the Hostel by performing the jamak prayer at the Hostel Surau.

I was rather sad to see the Hostel for the very last time. Soon, a new one coming up and I hope it can accommodate more poor students from the rural area.

Hostel Surau
Afternoon session started at 1415 hrs and the formation of the Alumni. Honestly I found it boring and to start with, there was an argument on the naming of the Alumni. The Old Horses of GESS felt rather uncomfortable with the incorporation of Buyung Adil. The Hall was getting warmer, and some of us left the Session and did not returned. We adjourned for drinks at the nearby Coffee shop. I did not know what transpired and the conclusion of the Session.

Whatever, thanks to the Organizing Committee. They managed to round up about 200 of old and young ex students of the School.

At 1615 hrs I hit back the Highway and headed home to Port Klang.

Momento of my presence.

A friend from KK.

My good friend from Kota Kinabalu Haji Hasbullah Latiff, arrived from KK early morning escorting his wife for some Government function at Dewan Sri Endon at Putrajaya.

He notified me of his presence at Puspanita Villa Persint 10 Putrajaya and I had to rendezvous with this good soul. When the family was in KK, Hasbullah was a good host. Initially we were supposed to meet up in KL on Saturday 16 May but I had prior appointment out of town on that day and Hasbullah is flying back on Sunday.

I first met Hasbullah during an umrah trip cum Egypt tour. Early last year, in a Group we ventured into Palestine and Israel, the place where many fear to go.

Fetched Hasbullah at 1100 hrs and we sat down at Rasa Café at Alamanda Shopping Complex for drinks. Being Friday we adjourned to Masjid Al Rahman for the Friday prayers.

After Friday prayer we had lunch at one of the open air Food Court but Hasbullah was on diet taking only two (2) pieces of “pau kacang”. Perhaps the breakfast served by MAS during the flight was sustainable. We talked about the good time we had together in Palestine and recollected the Nile River Cruise adventure. We laughed when the Belly Dancer was actually a transvestite.

Haji Hasbullah Latif.
Hasbullah took back to the Villa a packet of “chicken rice berempah” for his wife and I make my way back to the Office at Shah Alam.

It was nice to meet Haji Hasbullah (Panglima Sabah) again and we are working on the next meeting of two (2) night stay at Kundangsang Homestay to enjoy the Kinabalu fresh air. We will take along the fresh seafood from KK and the vegetable is ever ready at Kundangsang.
