Rompin parliamentary seat fell vacant when the incumbent Member of Parliament perished during a helicopter crashed.

05.05.15 was the Parliament reelection date and BN returned with 23769 votes while PAS only garnered 14901 votes with 591 votes spoilt. A victory to BN - the Ruling Government.

The WINNER.

Total voters turnout was only 74% compared to 85.9% during the GE 13 in 2013. Though BN had a reduced majority compared to 2013, PAS also had a reduction on total voters.

In spite of GST, 1MDB, Rosmah and Mahathir bashing the Prime Minister, BN still managed to maintain Rompin Parliamentary seat.

Prime Minister Najib still remain intact and Rosmah sleeping soundly besides Najib.

BRAVO to the Rompin voters who voted for BN. You all have brains indeed.

What chissed me off: Felda settlers preferred PAS (the Opposition) rather than BN, (the ruling Government) during the election arising from the statistics from the various Felda schemes. It is the Government that provided them land as well as house plot for them to work and live on. Those settlers who voted for the Opposition, I classify them as ungrateful, unappreciative and not thankful to Almighty Allah. It’s munafik. I suggest and am sure many would have agreed with me, they just leave the scheme and let some others to take over. If they don’t like the Government WTF are they doing participating in the Ruling Government sponsored project?

(I worked in the private sectors for 33 bloody years, with sweat and tears, contributing to the nation’s coffer and yet I was not given an inch of land by the Government but I still back the Ruling Government).
