UNDI LAH.

BARISAN NASIONAL memilih keaamanan.

JANJI DITEPATI.

PM was in town.

See the response by the residents of port Klang.....................

April 28, 2013 in spite of his very tight and busy schedule, the PM came to town at Pandamaran Jaya at about 2200 hrs. A makeshift tent was erected on a road to welcome him. The Welcoming Committee could not get any Hall anywhere in Port Klang as the State is under Pakatan Rakyat governance.

I was there to give BN moral support and simultaneously to see Najib in person for the very first time. I postponed a family dinner just to be among the crowd.

Najib was received by tremendous crowd of various races and greeted by the song IM4U. Najib had his hair stood when he saw the crowd expectantly it a cold reception. I stood by the left side of the tent among the overflowing BN supporters.

The three (3) ADUN candidates of Klang were presence including the Klang Parliamentary candidate. Dato Dr Ching Eu Boon @ Azman Ching BN candidate of Pandamaran is one of the constituencies in Klang and I am the voter. The incumbent ADUN, DAP Ronnie Liu was given a technical knock out by the illegitimate DAP Central Executive Council and replaced by a candidate God knows who, an alien in Pandamaran. Whereas Dato Dr Ching Eu Boon is local, born and bred in Pandamaran.

The gist of Najib’s presence was to forewarn the Port Klang constituency voters to reject Khalid Ibrahim, the incumbent Selangor Menteri Besar who is standing against Dato Nazaruddin from BN. The fact that Khalid Ibrahim switched constituency from Ijok to Port Klang is simple as he had not fulfilled his promises to the Ijok voters who had given him the mandate during 2008 GE. Najib told the Port Klang voters not to be repeatedly cheated by Khalid Ibrahim. The crowd loudly and positively applauded in agreement with Najib. A Warrior never abandons his Fort like Najib himself who would live and die a candidate for Pekan.
I am not a voter of Port Klang constituency but I like to see Khalid lose even though he was once my Boss. It is not that I like Khalid less but I love Selangor more. PKNS and Yayasan Selangor had been misused. He is also stubborn and refuses to work in tandem with the Federal Government in solving the existing water problem and the potential water shortage.

Bravo Najib, thank you for your time at Port Klang. We will fight the battle together on 05 May 2013. Insyaalah, we will prevail.

40th Anniversary.

The gift, from son Muzaffar and daughter Muzlifah.

Four (4) decades ago today, we were married at Jalan Bandar Lama in the town of Telok Panglima Garang.
Still happily married and live happily ever and forever, insyaalah. We went through thick and thin for poor and richness together. Till death we shall apart. Marriage is to last forever.

We are looking forward to the Golden Anniversary, with ALLAH blessings.

My X.

For the sake of UMNO, Barisan Nasional, nation stability and the aspiration to recapture Selangor from Pakatan Rakyat, I sacrifice my time and effort to assist CHING EU BOON @ AZMAN CHING the BN candidate of my constituency N 47 Pandamaran in the state of Selangor. The seat is still held by Ronnie Liu of DAP until 05 May 2013 but at GE 13 Ronnie’s name not even been listed by DAP anywhere in Malaysia. In other word he had been kicked out from contesting at GE 13. Being a Senior EXCO, I wonder why he was not listed at all. Only the DAP Taiko can answer.

Anyway……what has Ronnie Liu contributed to my Kampong? Read below.

I am putting full support for Barisan Nasional for the simple reason I despise the way Pakatan Rakyat, PAS in particular managing the Kampong. When PR took over the state administration after GE 12 tsunami, Ronnie Liu elected a PAS member to be the Ketua Kampong. A Ketua Kampong should be a Ketua Kampong for all, irrespective of political ideology but this Ketua Kampong of mine as concern is more of “Ketua Kampong PAS” particularly for PAS members and sympathizers only.

Several actions that annoyed the Kampong residents:

1.       Immediately requested the Kereta Jenazah of Saham Wakaf Kampong to be handed to them.
2.       The Kampong Khairat Kematian was mismanaged by their people and deregistered by ROS.
3.       The Kampong Mosque was managed by two man show, the Nazir and the Secretary. ( both are PAS fanatics).
4.       For two (2) consecutive years the Mosque financial accounts was rejected by the anak kariah.
5.       Mosque AGM declared null and void as previous year financial adamantly not corrected. The Ketua kampong seem to be folding his hands and let everything scot free.
6.       Mosque management invited Penceramah Agama to the Mosque and delivered political sermon instead of enhancing the Jemaah knowledge on Islam.
7.       When the Penceramah reprimanded, the Nazir requested those who disagree should leave the Mosque. The Mosque belongs to his father?
8.       Certain Penceramah Agama did not have JAIS credentials and against HRH Sultan Selangor decree.
9.       They highjack the New Mosque Development Committee vide Penyelaeas Masjid Selangor from PAS and they took over the construction overseeing. The New Mosque upon commissioning had several setbacks where they lack the expertise and failed to oversee the project development diligently. Up to this date, the PA system is still screwed up.
10.   Elected Mosque Committee by the anak kariah through legitimate voting system was purposely replaced by PAS members by the Ketua Kampong cum Mosque Adviser. PR wants all election to be Bersih?
11.   They constructed an arch at the kampong entrance with Ronnie Liu’s portrait. The kampong residents felt offended passing under a Chinaman portrait. Show me anywhere in Malaysia at a Chinese village where the ADUN is a Malay and they constructed an arch with the Malay ADUN portrait?
12.   Overall the setback happening in the Kampong and at the Mosque, the Ketua Kampong seems to ignore and wash his hands. Simply lacking management skill to manage a Kampong.

That is just a kampong under Pakatan Rakyat. The state? The Menteri Besar himself had declared a Manifesto, is not a promise. So…….what more to say? He also keeps on selling state land and properties. Water and rubbish problem remain unsolved. Clogged drains cause flooding everywhere moment after heavy downpour. Number of dengue casualty increased. All the “widows” in Selangor are crying out loud because they did not get their monthly allowance as promised by the Menteri Besar pre GE 12. Next time, if he cannot fulfil, don’t just suka suka manifested it in the Manifesto. When the MB asked a Form 3 Politicians drafted the Manifesto, they will write down the moon, the stars and all the planets in the galaxy.
As for the whole nation - The China doll, my name alike wrestling at Vistana Hotel, Elizabeth Wong showing her little forest, mass prayer to KO UMNO, Ambiga IFC Demand, Bersih 1,2,3 and Nik Aziz ridiculous fatwas. With three (3) different political parties not having a common stand on nation building, I might as well forget about considering Pakatan Rakyat. Once PAS declared UMNO as kafir (infidel) for associating with MCA/ MIC and now they PAS is associating with DAP not kafir?

Agree, BN also has it flaws but which nation in the world is 100% perfect? Every Malaysian is sharing the cake of harmony, peace and prosperity. Perhaps some are still dungus  of the highest class when a brainless Malay ask me what UMNO has done for the Malays since Merdeka?

This coming GE 13, my vote is for BN. My motto for Selangor is TUKAR BALIK (REVERT). Revert to BARISAN NASIONAL. Even though the candidate at my Constituency is from Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), he is a party to Barisan Nasional (BN). This country is made up of good Malay (UMNO), good Chinese (MCA), good Indians (MIC) and good indigenous people of Sabah Sarawak. As of other political parties, lain kali lah. Next time, maybe. It’s no secret about whom I will vote.

I will go bald if Selangor recaptured.

Me with Calon ADUN Pandamaran N 47. Chin Eu Boon.

Cabut.

A day after May 5, after the General Election, I am off on the jet plane for Sumatera. Not sure whether I will be celebrating victory in Pekanbaru or leaving Anwar Ibrahim or Hadi Awang as PM back home. I had made a pledge that I will go bald if BN capture Selangor but I will postpone the balding towards the end of the month.

Back in Malaysia on 10 May and on 25 May, I am off again to Eastern Europe and Middle East. Target destination is the former Constantinople, presently Istanbul. After cruising the Phosphorus Sea and enjoying the sweetness of the Turkish delight, lead a delegation on spiritual journey to the Middle East, Holy Land of Mecca and Medina. Here I will go bald to fulfill my obligatory pledge immaterial whether BN capture Selangor or otherwise. I will stop over in Doha Qatar on the way back on 09 June.

The plan to visit Sumatera with my cousin was made months ago with the budget Airline and we are lucky we just manage to scrape through the General Election. Main places of attraction in our agenda will be Bukittinggi, Tasik Malinjau and Padang. I want to see the birthplace of HAMKA the famous author of “Tenggelam nya Kapal Van de Wijck”, the first Malay Novel I read way back in 1962.

Tasik Malinjau.

The first president of Indonesia, Sukarno, visited the area in early June 1948. A pantun he wrote about the lake reads:
Jangan dimakan arai pinang,
Kalau tidak dengan sirih hijau.
Jangan datang ke Ranah Minang,
Kalau tidak singgah ke Maninjau.
Do not eat arai nut,
If not with a green betel.
Do not come to Minang lands,
If you do not stop at Maninjau.

Istanbul will be my second visit and the Holy Land, my second pilgrimage this year. I did not actually plan for this trip, rather it was designated to me and mere foolish to reject. If ever Malaysia remains status quo or even better coming out from the General Election, I will kneel in front of the Kaabah with alhamdullillah as my prayers had been answered when I went there last February 2013. Under whatever circumstances I still kneel for the well being of Malaysia and prosperity for all Malaysians. Not to forget to be summon again to the Holy Land in the month of Ramadan, mid July 2013.

I pray and seek (doa) to Almighty Allah for the blessing of good health to enjoy the scenic beauty of Almighty’s creation and the blessing of taqwa on performing the forthcoming umrah.

Talking about 05 May General Election – my former BOSS, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim the incumbent Menteri Besar is contesting in N 46 Port Klang. In 2008 the seat won by Badrul of PKR with 4000+ majority but cabut to UMNO soon after. Badrul unexpectedly won due to protest vote then. Late Dato Zakaria nominated his own daughter in law to contest for BN in Port Klang and that angered all UMNO supporters. The scenario then was different and Khalid failed to perform pre consultation with the Penghulu of Port Klang who had been a residence since 1977. The Penghulu has mastered all nook and corners of Port Klang, not to mention even the back lanes. Back lane? Yes.....the short cuts. Don't get me wrong.

The joke was, Badrul was sound asleep at home during the vote counting GE 12 and somebody got to summon him to Dewan Hamzah Klang to declare him a Winner. In 2008 General Election, you put a Monkey contesting under Pakatan Rakyat and the Monkey will win. This time around, I give Khalid the slightest chance to win in Port Klang as the present BN Contester is local, was born and bred in Port Klang constituency – Dato Nazaruddin Zain. In Port Klang there is a kampong name after his late father – Kampong Mat Zain. Moreover, Khalid had made several promises but never fulfilled and still remain adamant about solving the water crisis.

Whatever transpired out of 05 May 2013, on 06 May 2013 I am going to “cabut” to Sumatera. Let me enjoy the dengdeng and the dodol nangka from Bengkalis. My only hope, whoever loses, please do not take to the street. Pakatan Rakyat had a record of Bersih 3. Behave yourselves, will you? There is always another next five (5) years.

Unexpected journey again.

As posted on 15 January 2013, I had a good beginning for 2013. I made an unexpected journey to the Holy Land leading a group of Pilgrims to perform the umrah by Almukminin Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd.

Sometimes in April 2013, Haji Mokhdzar indicated that I would again lead a group of Pilgrims on a tour to Cairo / Alexandria and then umrah sometimes end May 2013. I accepted and excited about it even though I had been to Cairo / Alexandria twice before. The last was pre Ramadan in 2011 with Haji Mokhdzar himself. I would love to revisit the pyramid and the scenic beauty of Alexandria.

Recently, Haji Mokhdzar changed his mind instead of Cairo he diverted me to Istanbul Turkey instead. I will to lead about 20+ tourists cum Pilgrims for Istanbul and umrah on 25 May to 09 June 2013. The last time I was in Istanbul Turkey was in 2005 and at that time the currencies was by Millions. I was an instant Millionaire in Istanbul. In the upcoming itinerary we also get to tour Doha Qatar on our way back to Malaysia. In total we would be covering five cities - Istanbul, Jeddah, Mecca, Medina and Doha.
Zaaba Kamaruddin a close buddy of mine who initially suppose to join me to Cairo stick on with the Cairo umrah trip and probably we would rendezvous in the Holy City of Mecca as both trips is just three (3) days apart.

2013 must be Allah bless year for me as I get the opportunity to visit the Holy Land more often that I expected. Ramadan is coming soon in July August and insyaalah I will make the same one month stay in the Holy Land.

These couple of days until departure date I am very busy at Almukminin Travel & Tour office assisting the Clerical staffs to sort out the pre tour formalities and necessities. It’s been twelve (12) years since I left an Office desk.

As usual I will post a write out about my second unexpected journey. Syukur alhamdullillah (Thank Allah). I believe in Thee and Thee have answered my doa (prayers) for every time I performed my Baitullah widaq I always request that Thee to invite me again to the Holy Land and if Thou fail to make it Thou request none other than Thee Paradise.

Pre handedly I thank Haji Mokhdzar and Puan Serina of Almukminin Travel for trusting my capabilities and having the confidence of my leadership.

The calling of Kaabah (Lambaian Kaabah) is too strong for me to resist. Insyaalah by end of May 2013, I will be at Masjidilharam and early June at Nabawi.

(Widaq Baitulllah – the good bye tawaf at the Holy Kaabah).

Stylo Shasha.

She is now 6+ and in Standard 1 afternoon session. In the morning she attends Sekolah Rendah Ugama. Every Sunday morning she attends basic religious and Koran reading at an Institution in town.

Shasha just back from her Sunday Religious class.

Shasha would normally come to the house on Friday evening after school and stay on until Saturday evening. During term break she stays a couple of days. Our house is her second home and she knows where she keeps her belonging. When she is around she is the BOSS. Her favorite TV Channel is 615 Disney World and Mr Bean is her favorite program. I love watching her little fingers playing around with the keyboard when she addresses the various game install for her convenience at my desktop. When fed up she turns to either my IPhone or her Auntie’s.

Shasha’s favorite drink is 6+ Dugro Strawberry Chocolate flavor milk. She loves briyani rice and curry kurma.

When Shasha is around in the house I watch her like a hawk and keep her busy doing something educational. She writes and coloring with her left hand. Being cheeky sometimes she playfully eating with her left hand and just waiting for us to check her. She would giggle away.

When we go somewhere there is always something for Shasha. The house is very quiet without her around and we miss her antics.

How cute she was when she was one year old.

My kampong playmate.

You can take me out of the kampong but you can never take the kampong out of me – Badiozaman Abdullah 02 April 2013. I agreed with him. I too always address myself as a simple kampong boy of which I am truly proud of. In fact I still live in a kampong.

Badiozaman was my childhood playmate in Kampong Bikam in the 50s. We got separated as his late parent, Pak Cik Dollah and Wan Embun decided to join the first Felda scheme at Lembah Bilut, Pahang sometimes after Merdeka.

I had been looking for Badiozaman for ages, inquiring about him from people that I know of from Lembah Bilut. No one seems to know where he was but they know who he is.

Through the internet, Badiozaman traced me through a comment I posted at GES Primary Bidor. He sent me an email inquiring whether I am the right Mustapa from Kampong Bikam. I immediately replied that I am the one and called him over the phone. I browsed the internet and saw him as experiential Trainer at one Adventure Holiday Tour Company.

We were practically neighbors’, only separated by a swamp full of mengkuang. Together we used to swim in the crystal clear river and enjoyed the yearly tuba festival. We walked to the main road to catch the bus to school. During rainy season, the road became muddy and we hanged our shoes at the collar. In the afternoon, we went to the same Madrasah to learn the basic of Koran reading and everybody feared Tok Adam, the grand old man who taught us alif, ba ta. In the evening, it was playtime and we normally joined the old folks at the riverside makeshift farm (ladang) and enjoyed our self barbeque tapioca and maize. Our duty was to chase away the monkeys and it was really fun. Sometimes at night we watched the kampong youth practicing their silat and Pak Unggal Bedul was the Mahaguru. I wish I can go back to time tunnel and back to that era. Life was easy going, the air was fresh and the world was at peace with us. We only watched movie once a month when the Information Service Department Van came visiting. We were not interested with the Government propaganda about communist Terrorists and rural development. Though we did not have pipe water and electricity then, we never complained and now we are grateful with the absence of those utilities, we are able to compare and appreciate what is life all about.

02 April 2013 – Badiozaman made an appointment that he would visit and encounter with me personally. He took the KTM Commuter and I anxiously waited for him at Kampong Raja Uda KTM Station. At last, after over half a century the two (2) buddies met.

The meeting was nostalgic and over coffee at my house we talked about the good old days. He furthers his studies after ITM to the States for six (6) years to do his MBA. He is retired and do various freelancing. He used to revisit Kampong Bikam as he still has close living relatives there. I did visit the kampong but I don’t seem to recognize anybody and they don’t seem to recognize me either. My old grandparent’s house is still standing, unoccupied. My relatives are either gone forever or migrated like me. However, I still remain a kampong boy.

Badiozaman brought along surprises with him. He showed me a Malay poetry (Syair) script in jawi composed by my late Grandmother about the matrimonial story of his parent. I was really shocked to see the over 50 year old script and it is readable. While reading, my memories flew back trying to recollect the personalities as mentioned. I never know my late Grandmother was a great composer of syair. Badiozaman is treasuring the script but he made a copy for me. (I will Romanize it and posted later).

He also brought along a photograph of the Kampong Home Guard with Sir General Templer. Gosh!! I was astonished to see the faces in the old sentimental photograph. Of course all of them are already gone. Badiozaman assisted me to recall who was in the photo.

I showed Badiozaman some old Primary school photographs and surprisingly he could recollect most of the names in the photo.

We adjourned for lunch at Asam Pedas Restaurant and I send him to Port Klang KTM Station as he had another appointment at 1600 hrs in KL. We promised that we both will make a trip back down memory lane to the kampong soon. We plan to gather the entire kampong once little rascals and organize a “Grand Get Together”.
