BADAN KHAIRAT KEMATIAN KRU.

I was told not to speculate when someone told me over the phone that the Kampong “Badan Khairat Kematian” had been terminated by the Registrar of Society (Pertubuhan Pendaftaran). Fine with me, maybe that guy was right. On 11 May 2010, Tuesday I walked into the Registrar Office at Shah Alam Selangor. Being a fully paid member until December 2010, I was qualified to request for an extract from ROS.

The following was the result:

The deregistration Letter from Pertubuhan Pendaftaran Malaysia.

ROS had terminated the “Badan Khairat Kematian” effective 26 August 2009 and nobody seems to know about it even the Committee Members. At this point of time, the Committee had not announced to the Members and the Kampong residents in general. What is going on? I paid my subscription on 13 February 2010 vide receipt No: 0461 when by actual fact, no collection can be executed. The Badan Khairat Kematian is considered deregistered. (Pertubuhan HARAM).

The most interesting part, all ROS correspondence to the Badan Khairat Kematian was to 1A Jalan Petola and it was the late Secretary residential address. (Cikgu Saleh had passed away sometimes early 2000) I had the opportunity to look at the File at ROS Shah Alam and the last correspondence from the Committee was the Annual General Meeting Minute of 1997 – 2000 AGM. The Minute of 2003 AGM was not there too. Why the Secretary who started holding the post on 4 May 2000 until current did not update all the pertinent record? Why the Treasurer who hold the post since 1997 - 2000 session did not submit the Annual Account Statement to ROS of which he is complied to do so? If they had submitted to all the formalities, the Kampong Badan Khairat Kematian is not in such a mess now.

I can very well predict that the Committee would evade the issue by giving excuses and declaring to the Ahli Ahli Khairat Kematian that they had not received the ROS “Show Cause Letter” and the “Deregistration Letter”.

For record:

The Secretary of the Badan Khairat Kematian is also the current Secretary of the Mosque.
The Treasurer of the Badan Khairat Kematian is the current Nazir of the Mosque.

Both were elected for the 2009 – 2012 session after Pakatan Rakyat took over Selangor.

Personally I have no problem with PR, BN or whoever. The most important thing which I would applaud and supportive, is to those who renders their full commitment to the things entrusted upon them. Allah would bless those who provide all good kind of services with full sincerity to all mankind.

I just hope effort would be made to revive the defunct Khairat Kematian and all parties irrespective of UMNO, PAS, PKR, Independents and Fence Sitters should work together and find the best solution to get out of the mess.

I rest my case.

(watch the color and saf lining).
Side elevation of the Mosque.
(the Dome is light gold).
We visited the construction site and the Site Manager; Tuan Syed gladly gave us a briefing and a site tour on the latest development. KRU Mosque Imam No 2, Haji Khairuddin was presence and was astonished to see how huge the New Mosque is. It can easily accommodate 8000 Jemaah.

JAIS had confirmed the color and the design of the carpet at the main prayer hall. The Imam and I smiled at each other, sign of approval. Within a couple of weeks, the main prayer wall would be up. The weather had been kind and the progress, as I saw it was very aggressive. We were fortunate to meet Haji Saufi who happened to be on site visit in preparation of the mehrab khat wooden carving and the mimbar design. He kindly briefed us of his rough master plan and we were in no position to comment. We will just go along with the design approved by the relevant Authorities.

As at this date the newly elected Chairman nominated from KRU Mosque Committee have not call the New Mosque Development Committee for a meeting. This subject matter would be left dangling as KRU Mosque Committee headed by the Nazir still seeking avenues to take control of the New Mosque Development Committee. The New Mosque Development Committee had compromised that the Chairman would be from KRU Mosque Committee and all fund collected kept in Bank Islam and Bank Muamalat to be transferred to MAIS account. Why fight as the nawaitu is building a House of Allah? From reliable sources, who attended one of KRU Mosque Committee Meeting, one of the Senior Committee Member mentioned that if they do not get control of the under construction Mosque, it is WAR. My goodness!!

Up to this point of time there is no confirmation letter from MAIS or JAIS stating that the KRU Mosque Committee would take over the welfare of the New Mosque, neither had MAIS or JAIS dissolved the Development Committee. Logically from the perspective of a sound mind, which Committee possesses the local standee? Even a Form 3 guy can tell the difference between the two. Sometimes I wonder why MAIS and JAIS are so reluctant to handover the New Mosque welfare to KRU Mosque Committee.

Que sera, sera, what will be, will be. Almighty Allah would destined the will be.

May 13.

Today is May 13. I want to forget about the day 41 years ago. If you don’t remember what happened on 13 May 1969, you better shut up and go on with your life. I remember and I know it was painful. Those who remember, don’t open old wounds in public. You may relate the story to your siblings as a lesson for everybody to make Malaysia a beautiful place to stay.

Say your own prayer to the innocent victim.
