ALL SET.
The Mosque is all set to be handed over to the Kampung. The
only lacking which is yet to be installed is the four (4) major stand fans at
the Main Prayer Hall.
The 2012 – 2015 Mosque Committee had their first meeting on 04
June 2012. Commencing the meeting, several Committee Members questioned the
appointment of the Nazir who obtained only 66 votes against the 99 who was not
selected. The Timbalan Nazir will proceed with an appeal to restore the highest
votes obtained as provided in the Selangor Majlis Agama Islam Enactment.
From the feedback, the New Mosque would be having a strong
team of Committee Members who do not align to any political parties. The 2009 –
2012 Committee, 90% were PAS radicals, including the Mosque adviser, the Ketua
Kampong. Currently, the Adviser, Nazir, one AJK, Bilal 2 and Siak 2 are PAS
members. Imam 2 is controversial and unpredictable, can be anywhere. The rest
are non PAS neither fully active in UMNO.
The Meeting surprisingly encountered one undesirable
uninvited specimen from the 2009 – 2012 Committee gate crashed at the meeting
allegedly presenting the former Nazir on the pretence of handing over
something. He was instructed to leave the Meeting Room. This is the type of
personnel that was handling the Mosque affair in 2009 – 2012 whom plainly ignorant
of protocol and formalities.
Workers were seen polishing the floor tiling and inserting
rubber linings at the steel frames of courtyard arches. Surrounding grasses
being trimmed.
Prominent signage had been installed at specific places at
washroom for Men & Women.
Tentatively the New Mosque would be fully operational
conducting the solat fardhu on 01 July 2012. Insyaalah.
