Last week of 2015.

Last posting of 2015.

25 Dec – Christmas Holiday. Solat Jumaat at Masjid Di Raja Tengku Ampuan Jemaah, Bukit Jelutong. Lunch was nasi briyani Maisarah with the usual Mosque colleagues, Dato Malik and Termizi Ah Chong.

26 Dec – The Akad Nikah ceremony and wedding reception of Harry, Farid Mohamad’s eldest son. The akad nikah was at Masjid Saidina Umar Al Khatab Bukit Damansara KL and the Luncheon Reception at Sime Darby Convention Center, Roof Top Lounge. The function was attended by family members, the bridegroom’s friends, the bride’s friends and yours truly, one of only two Farid’s close friends. I was very glad to meet Farid’s parent in law and Uncle Zakaria is 81 years old now. A walking stick and a pipe always remain close to him.

27 Dec – whole afternoon at Shah Alam Convention Center Exhibition Hall.

28 Dec – Visited my ex Guthrie colleague cum close buddy, Harchan Mohd Reza admitted at Institute Kanser Negara. He was at Ward 8A diagnosed to having typhoid. He was admitted to IKN due to current illness. The best joke, I initially went to Putrajaya Hospital being informed Harchie had high fever and when requested for permission to go to the Eight (8) Floor, the Security Guard told me the Hospital has only five (5) floors.

29 Dec – Luggage bag returned for modification. The spoilt cigarette lighter in the car replaced, to facilitate hand phone charging.

30 Dec – Settled the hand phone bill at Petronas Station. Payments of Electricity bill vide internet transaction. I visited Giant Hypermarket, to exchange unspent USD to MYR and to purchase printer cartridges. BR1M particulars updated. My good friend Harchan had been discharged.

31 Dec – Last Day of 2015. Around noon, went to settle the Unifi bill at TM Port Klang.  The rest of the afternoon was at Gombak and visited Addeen Travel & Tour Office since I was at the vicinity. Shocked when informed, Pak Wan Azman is now admitted at KPJ Hospital due to some complication after his return from the Holy Land. Insyaalah, on New Year Day, I will pay him a visit.

I don’t look forward to New Year Eve anymore which once upon a time I used to. I will only hear the sound of the Ship’s horn from the Harbor at the comfort of my home, watching the countdown on TV. The jahiliyah era is now behind me. Syukur alhamdullillah.

I am looking forward for a better 2016. Insyaalah Almighty Allah will grace me with good health and keep on inviting me to the Holy Land.

01 January 2016 – HAPPY NEW YEAR to those who just read this blog. Stay healthy and be Allah (God) fearing.
