Perhaps it is on schedule, I don’t know. As observed, it is rather slow but it is progressing well. Workers still busy here and there. Weather had been kind. Lorries are moving away the extra soil to the Graveyard ground. Wiring work is in progress at the Multi Purpose Hall. They are finishing all the Washrooms including the VIPs’. Most of the work on all completed structures is the smooth plastering.

The New Mosque Donation Safes at the current Mosque – sometimes it is locked and sometimes it is open to the whim and fancy of the Mosque’s Nazir. What I know, the Mosque Treasurer had resigned. The Jemaah elected Treasurer declined the post and now the Nazir elected Treasurer, had resigned. Why? I don’t know. Who is the Mosque Treasurer now? Maybe it is the Nazir himself. He is running out of Committee Members to be elevated as Treasurer. What they do with the money collected in the Donation Safes, I too do not know. There are many speculations going on in the Mosque and it is not healthy. The problem is the lack of transparency. I don’t blame the Jemaah either.

2010 is coming to an end soon and by first quarter of 2011 the New Mosque projected to be ready. It is only about four (4) months away and surely they are lot of planning to be done. Now is the best time to start implementing a new inventory of the New Mosque. Purchasing of furniture, utensils, office equipment, electrical appliances, praying mats and crockery had to be plan and catalogue accordingly. We are dealing with the House of Allah. There are plenty of Philanthropists out there and the kampong residents themselves who are willing to give away their money for the sake of a Mosque. There are many takers provided it is done cooperatively systematic with full of sincerity. Political ideologies should be put aside. Allah does not recognize whether you are green blue or red. Allah only knows one “nawaitu” in one heart and grandeur the Almighty blessings thereafter. Insyaalah.
