The Mosque as at 17 May 2012.
Alhamdulillah (thank you, Allah) and Allah Hu Akbar (Allah
is Great) the New Mosque is all set to receive the kampong Jemaah. It is
completed in all respect except for final touches here and there.
Reliable sources: The Main Contractor had handed the New
Mosque to JKR on 16 May 2012. MAIS/JAIS would inspect the New Mosque on 21 May
2012.
Bearing all circumstances, the New Mosque should be handed
to the kampong on or around 01 June 2012 in tandem with the takeover of the 2012
– 2015 newly elected Mosque Committee. My prediction of June 2012 is right on
the spot.
The New Mosque is waiting for the installation of 4 X 4
stand fan with lights at the main prayer hall. There will be sixteen (16) fans
to cool the spacious hall. I reckon the chandelier is put on hold for the time
being. Perhaps the 2012 – 2015 Committee would sort it out.
During commissioning there will be varieties of teething
problem that got to be sorted out, insyaalah the newly elected Committee with
their various expertise and experiences would excel. However, few workers of
the Main Contractor are on standby for couple of months to amend any structural
shortcomings.
To equip the New Mosque is another pertinent area where the
newly elected Committee has to look into. Table and chairs for the multipurpose
hall and lecture hall is small and prominent example. It should have been plan
a year ago but of reasons only known to the beholder it was not done. I do not
know where the fault lies and which party is actually responsible. Only Allah
is knows.
A month from now, insyaalah the call of azan will fill
Kampong Raja Uda air from the New Mosque.
