Finally on 31 March 2010 the Mosque Committee held a Meeting after the Isyakh prayer to decide who would be the Chairman of the New Mosque Development Committee. The Meeting was initiated and attended by Klang District Mosques Supervisor, Ustaz Khairul Annuar from JAIS.

(Meeting was held at JAIS on 25 January 2010 and letter issued on 05 February 2010 by JAIS to Nazir to appoint the Mosque Chairman of Development Bureau as Chairman of New Mosque Development Committee).

The question is why the Nazir took so long to conduct a Meeting and elect the person concern? From 05 February 2010 to 31 March 2010?

At the Meeting of 31 March 2010, Nazir appointed Encik Ekmal Hisham bin Abdullah who has no portfolio in the Mosque Committee as the Chairman of Development Bureau and automatically he takes over as Chairman of the New Mosque Development Committee. The Nazir still adamantly insisted that he should hold the position as Chairman of the New Mosque Development Committee however declined by Ustaz Khairul Annuar. Nazir further proposed that he intend to dissolve the existing New Mosque Development Committee since the New Chairman is already in place. Due to several formalities involved and the complications may arise, Ustaz Khairul Annuar commented that it would not be advisable.
During the Meeting on 25 January 2010 at JAIS, (Nazir presence), Major (Rtd.) Haji Bustamam bin Alias was mentioned and agreed by the five (5) Representatives of the New Mosque Development Committee in attendance. However Haji Bustamam is holding the portfolio of Social & Welfare Bureau and his name was not favored by Nazir and moreover Hj Bustamam is an UMNO member.

Without prejudice, theoretically and practically Haji Bustamam would be a better and suitable as compared to Ekmal Hisham (self employed) who is also the Secretary of JKKK. With military experience and as a Retired Major in the Malaysian Army, Haji Bustamam would possess vast management skill. This is a question of putting the right peg into the right holes; no political sentiments (ideology) should be associated.
Everybody is waiting, whats next?

Que sera sera………………the future not us to see and I rest upon Almighty Allah. Human plan and Allah determine.
