As of today, the New Mosque with the newly appointed Chairman had not convened any Meeting. Surely those relevant had come back from Hulu Selangor. The fact that their comrade bit the dust in the election make them more sore and further delay is imminent.

I think there would be no Meeting and the episode would drag on aimlessly. As it is, I don’t see any reconciliation between the parties concern. The New Mosque Notice Board is still being kept in the Meeting Room. The public knows nothing about the progress.

Bottom line, who would be affected? The kampong residents had been looking forward for a new Mosque since the early 2000 from the tenure of the late Ketua Kampong Haji Adenan Chik and Nazir, late Haji Jantan Ismail (Alfathihah for them). After Haji Adenan Chik the Ketua Kampong was Encik Mat Nor Katim and Haji Bakar Bachok. They were all during BN era, UMNO appointee and the present Ketua Kampong is DAP appointee. The Ketua Kampong is automatically the Adviser and to be one he must be non partisan as the former had done. The Ketua Kampong would be the main personality to straighten things out, not otherwise.

The New Mosque construction is going on progressively within the fenced wall and the prominent structure accessible to public eye, only the minaret. The rest is beyond and my own initiative to record the pictures would be archived as history of the New Mosque. Perhaps those who know the existence of this blog can share my intention. It is for public eye and information. I am not paid to do the job and for my time. My nawaitu (intention) is solidly for the benefit of all.

This is the problem when someone associates “Mosque” with “Politic”. Almighty Allah would not ask you which political party you belong to. Allah would only ask you how much you have contributed towards your religion as a Follower of Islam and a Servant to Allah during your lifetime.

My daily doa in prayer that Allah would bestow “hidayah” to all concern, including yours truly.
