Wiring work is in progress. Estimated job completion is 80% and target date should be completed by May 2011.

The above shots and the previous will give you an insight how the Mosque would look like when fully completed. The tallest man made structure in Kampong Raja Uda is the Mosque minaret and hope no one would complain about the high level sound of the azan. Regret, or rather unfortunate there are several rows of terrace houses occupied by Non Muslims just over the Mosque fencing. I hope it would not be an issue or politically manipulated.

Come 2011 Ramadan, the solat sunat terawih, can be performed in this grand Mosque, insyaalah.

For the information of all, the groundwork of this New Mosque started from the era of former BN State Government. The first Meeting to start kicked the planning and the blueprint of this New Mosque was way back on 23 June 1999. Several of the pioneer Committee Members had since passed away. It had been eleven (11) years since and now the reality is growing in front of my eyes. I have my heart and soul and sentimentally attach to this New Mosque as I was fortunate to be one of the pioneer members of the Committee. I gracefully resigned sometimes in October 2003 as I had a mild stroke. Health was against me. Around that time the site was cleared and leveled with fresh subsoil. Only a few of us know the obstacles and the hurdles we went through to start the project going.

In 2008, the construction was interrupted with the termination of the original Contractor when BN State Government hit the dust. The project resumed with a new Contractor under the reign of PR State Government.

Bearing all circumstances and obstacles, not forgetting the squabbles; I thank Almighty Allah that the New Mosque would proudly stand as the kampong icon and a landmark for those Travelers who are approaching Port Klang town.
