Norman passed away yesterday. My batch mate, 1963 – 1965. Obituary inserted at today’s STAR.
Professor Dr. Syed Sheik sent me a short message. Raja Mohammed also confirmed the sad news. I don’t buy and read STAR. Forward the message to few batch mates and emailed to a friend who has the mailing list of old boys.
Norman hailed from Ipoh and one of the few Eurasian students. The last time I met him was about three years ago at the Highway 1, Ulu Bernam Rest Area and that was the first time we met since 1965. Surprisingly he still could recognize me and hailed the first greeting. He was with MOX – Malaysian Oxygen. I do not much about his life after school.
