Adamantly, still haram.

The kuliah subuh on Saturday 05 December 2009 was by Sheik Abdullah Lufti and during the question & answer session; a question was asked the status of someone preventing a Muslim performing amal jariah. Sheik Abdullah requested for an example and it was quoted like the case of locking off the New Mosque Donation Safes. The Nazir happened to be present, intervened and would like to answer the question. He definitely did not answer the question, he is not qualified though but he gave reason why it was locked. He adamantly emphasized that that the New Mosque Committee is illegal.

Who was the Nazir trying to fool? It was clearly stated by Ustaz Farid of JAIS during the Annual General Meeting on 30 September 2009 that the New Mosque Committee is as per status quo and can proceed with their activities until a final resolution made by MAIS or JAIS at a later date. The whole Jemaah heard when Ustaz uttered the statement and in fact Ustaz Farid was requested to repeat the statement twice for the attention of those present. The bloody Nazir heard it. Is he deaf? If he is, I think he needs to consult the E&T Specialist urgently.

Back to the question, Sheik Abdullah did not want to get involve with the Mosque current political tussle, however he answered the so question: In general no one can prevent any Muslim from performing amal jariah. The answer was short and simple, however loud and clear. If the Nazir does not understand that part of the answer, he definitely needs a further Specialist, the Neurologist.

Assuming the New Mosque Committee is illegal but the Donation Safe is definitely legal. It is an innocent safe ever ready waiting for Good Samaritan to insert notes and coins for the cause and cost of building a New Mosque (House of Allah). Why the Nazir want to lock it? No sensible mind would do that. This is the percussion of swearing in the Mosque in the name of Allah. He had done that too.

Time will prevail and I doa that Allah would finally show him the siratulmustakim (the right path).
