The Dusun.

Let’s clear the land and plant some fruit trees. We may not taste the fruits but our generations should be. That’s the consensus the in-laws made. The land had been abandoned for such a long time. It was surveyed and boundaries ascertained and marked. Only a portion had been cleared and planted with local species.

The white sack to protect the young plant.

The Klang/Banting Highway at the background.

The aged Oil Pam trees to be bulldoze.

Some trees had matured and fruiting.

Situated by the Klang/Banting Highway, the land was planned by the BN Government to build a canal through, from Putrajaya to Sungai Langat to ease tropical flooding. However the project was abandoned with the fall of Selangor BN and Venice did not materialize. Sungai Rambai run through the land.

A decade from now insyaalah we can enjoy the durian, rambutan, mangosteen, cempedak, jackfruit and mangoes.
