I covered USA, Europe, Canada, Mexico and certain Asians cities (towns) mostly on Company business and expenses. Having employed by former British Plantation Company, one of the perk handed over was a sabbatical leave for every ten (10) years service. Sometimes I programmed company business immediately after the long service leave. Win-win situation, the Company saved and I got to see places. I managed to attack USA, east and west, once landed at Los Angeles and the other at Washington DC.

*Nominated by SIRIM Malaysia and with the approval of the Company CEO I was off to Washington DC and Vienna Austria to attend the ISO 14000 “Term & Definitions” Conference.

The best part, I flew westward to London, hopped to Washington DC, travelled US cities, landed in Los Angeles and flew back to Subang via Narita. The KGB Senior Manager circled the globe within twenty two (22) days. The adventure, which the kampong boy could never, dreamt of.
